Why Your PLSA Membership Matters
As a member of the PLSA Association, you help maintain access to some of the most valued features of our community. The Association owns and manages private property for members only, including the landing, beach, boat launches and rented dock spaces. These amenities are not open to the general public - making them a unique benefit of living in our neighborhood.
Beyond convenience and enjoyment, these shared spaces also contribute to the overall value of our properties. Clean, well-maintained, and accessible lakefront amenities are something we can all take pride in.
Maintaining these areas requires ongoing funding for upkeep, repairs, and insurance. Strong membership ensures that we can continue to care for these spaces properly.
If membership were to decline significantly, there is a risk that these properties could eventually become public. This could lead to increased traffic, heavier use of the lake and added strain on our neighborhood.
Your membership plays an important role is preserving the quality, privacy, and character of our community. Thank you for being part of what makes PLSA a great place to live.
Membership to PLSA is restricted to Property owners and Renters within the Pulaski Lake Shores neighborhood.
Membership is required to use PLSA facilities and property.
Short Term Rentals
Property owners who operate short-term rentals and wish for their tenants to have access to PLSA property must obtain a Tenant Use License. Short-term rentals are defined as rentals of six months or less. For 2025, the short-term rental fee is $2,000 per property (fees are subject to change). The Tenant Use License application must be completed and submitted to the PLSA board for approval. The Tenant Use License form is available in the Resource Center or here.
Updated Dock Space Guidelines
As presented at the 2024 Fall Membership meeting, the membership approved to update the Dock Space Guidelines. The updated Dock Space guidelines are available in the Resource Center or here.

PLSA Board - Reminder
The Executive Board was created for the management of the affairs of the association as per the by-laws Article IV. The PLSA Executive Board does not get involved with neighborhood conflicts or neighbor disputes. The PLSA Executive board is responsible for property owned by the association.
